Come along and find out more about how local services help you find the Right Care, in the Right Place and learn about Neighbourhood Health in Southport and Formby.
Southport and Formby residents are invited to drop into a free community event to learn more about local NHS services and how to access the right care when they need it.
Getting the Most from Your Local NHS will take place on Wednesday 21 October 2026, from 10am to 12pm, at Southport Library, The Atkinson.
The event will give local people the opportunity to find out more about the range of services available across Southport and Formby, helping them understand how to access the right care, in the right place. Attendees will also be able to learn more about the development of Neighbourhood Health and how health and care services are working together to support local communities.
Representatives from Southport and Formby Primary Care Network will be on hand to answer questions, provide information and signpost residents to services that can help them stay well and access support closer to home.
Visitors will be able to find out more about the different NHS services available locally, including when to use self-care, community pharmacy, GP services, NHS 111, Urgent Treatment Centres and A&E, helping them get the right care in the right place.
Whether you're looking for advice about local healthcare services or simply want to learn more about changes happening across the NHS, everyone is welcome to attend.
